Lifting Machines and vehicles will be checked by their operators before each start of work, and steel rope, chains, hooks, slings, pulleys, brakes and automatic stops will be fully checked annually by an authorized technical staff and a control document will be prepared and kept in a special file at the workplace. Lifting Machines will be able to lift and suspend at least 1.25 times of their operating weight effectively and safely, and they will have sufficient load brakes that are resistant to this load. (Regulation on Health and Safety Conditions in the Use of Work Equipment 28628/25.04.2013)
